On May 24th, TYP hosted a parental development seminar with Elim Counseling Center. Parents (who did not need to have TYP children) were invited to hear professional advice on supporting their children’s mental health.
Elim Counseling Center director Kwon Sook-Kyoung taught skills for better understanding students and created audience discussion of important child-rearing issues.
Attendees found the seminar very helpful so TYP and Elim Counseling Center plan to host more parent seminars in the future.
A corresponding student seminar (also open to the public) is scheduled for August 13th.
